India Mourns for the Loss of Her Chandni- Best Movie Blog

Indian cinema lost one of the brightest stars through the loss of Sridevi’s unnatural demise. The personalities such as Kajol, Lata Mangeshkar, Karan Johar Hrithik Roshan, et all offered their condolences on the death of the legendary actor.

The high praised actor passed away at the age of 54 on 24th February 2018 keeping a dark cloud in the sky of Bollywood. She performed not only in Bollywood movies but also in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam movies in her short lifespan.

Sridevi was the first female superstar in India. She got the voice from melody queen Lata Mangeshkar in many of her movies. The songs lipped by her like ‘Mere haathon mein’, ‘Morni baaga maa’ ‘Nainon mein sapna’, ‘Kabhi main kahoon’, ‘Main Teri Dushman, Dushman Tu Mera’, ‘Chandni O Meri Chandni’ etc. The songs are being murmured in the lips of her fan followers.

Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar tweeted, “I can’t believe Sridevi has left the world at such a young age. I’m at a loss of words. My condolences to Boney Kapoor and their two daughters.”

Legendary singer, Asha Bhosle also offered her some of the melodious songs like “Parbat se kaali ghata takraee” in the movie Chandni and many more. She uttered homage to the actor, “Very sad to hear about Srideviji. We’ve had a long association. My deepest condolences to her family”

Actor Vidya Balan wrote about Sridevi on social media that “My inspiration is no more…”

Hrithik worked with Sridevi when he was a little boy in the film, Bhagwaan Dada (1986). He wrote, “I loved her, admired her so much. My first ever acting shot was with Sridevi, I was nervous in front of her and I remember her shaking her hands pretending to be nervous cause of me just to boost my confidence. We had to laugh, and she kept laughing until I got it right. Will miss you, ma’am.”

The news of the untimely demise of Sridevi left India in an unmatched grief. The millions of fan followers are shocked by the news. The world of Indian entertainment felt a deep state of shock.
