My GENITALS Do Not Define My GENDER! | Humanity | Best Lifehack Blog

“Everyone Has a Story, Listen To It before You Judge”

I don’t get why people refuse to use the correct pronouns for people. Like I get that you might not agree with their gender identity but you really aren’t being heroic for “Standing Up For Your Belief’s” you’re just hurting someone’s feelings and being a jackass.

Sex? Gender? These two words are often used interchangeably, but there are distinct differences.

Sex is commonly understood to be based on a person’s genitals and reproductive organs; these anatomical details are thought to define a person as male or female.

When a child is born, a doctor says, “It’s a boy” or “It’s a girl.”

The term transgender  refers to people whose sense of their own gender differs from what would be expected based on the sex characteristics with which they are born. A transgender person may identify as a woman despite having been born with male genitalia, for example, and some transgender people do not specifically identify as men or women.

It can be difficult for people who are not transgender to imagine what being transgender feels like. Imagine what it would be like if everyone told you that the gender that you’ve always known yourself to be was wrong. What would you feel like if you woke up one day with a body that’s associated with a different gender? What would you do if everyone else—your doctors, your friends, your family—believed you’re a man and expected you to act like a man when you’re actually a woman, or believed you’re a woman even though you’ve always known you’re a man?

Transgender equality is equally important it’s high time these people should be treated with the same dignity and respect as anyone else and be able to liveand be respected, according to their gender identity. But transgender people often face serious discrimination and mistreatment at work, school, and in their families and communities.

Transgender people are most likely to:

  1. Be fired or denied job
  2. Face harassment and bullying at school.
  3. Be evicted or denied housing or access to a shelter
  4. Be denied access to critical medical care.
  5. Face abuse and violence.

To sum it up all, Genitals should not affect Humanity!
“You Can’t Discriminate Someone Based On Something They Didn’t Choose, and Can’t Change. It’s The Way They Are. Let’s Respect It!!
